Italian Dressing

Try this dressing on green salads or pasta salads. Also try on submarine sandwiches or grilled chicken sandwiches to give them some extra flavor.
 


  • Preparation Time: 30 seconds
  • Serving Size: 2 Tablespoons
  • Serves: 8
 
Ingredients

     ½ cup canola or olive oil
     ¼ cup white wine vinegar
     2 tsp. dried basil
     1½ tsp. salt
     1 tsp. SPLENDA® Granular
     ½ tsp. garlic powder
     1 tbsp. light mayonnaise (half the calories)
     3 tbsp. water
 

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend on high until combined, approximately 30 seconds.
  3. Pour into small pitcher or dressing cruet. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Shake or stir before pouring.
